General Questions

Question: Will someone meet me at the airport?

Answer: You may request our airport pick-up service on your application. A member of our staff will meet you at the airport. Please look for the driver with the sign displaying the FLS logo. You will be transferred directly to our center or your host family. The cost for the airport pick-up service varies from center to center. Please check the exact fees on our website.

Question: What should I bring from home?

Answer: It's a good idea to bring some of the toiletry items you use regularly in your home country, such as shampoo, toothpaste, etc. since you will not be able to buy the same brands in America. You will probably want some books and music in your native language, since these items will also be hard to find. Be sure to bring a camera!

Question: What will happen on the first day of my program?

Answer: The first day of your program is an orientation day. On this day, you will receive a tour of the campus and the FLS Student Handbook. You will have a chance to meet all of the staff members of the center. You will also take a placement test which will help us determine the best level of English study for you. The orientation on the first day will help prepare you for your FLS program.
