Visa Questions

Question: How can I get an I-20?

Answer: FLS International is authorized under United States federal law to enroll non-immigrant students.

In order to qualify for an I-20, potential students must apply to a full-time program.

After you send in your complete application materials, (including financial statement, any requested supporting documents, and the registration fee) and are found eligible for entry, FLS will issue your I-20 within 2 days.

In order to activate your student status, you must report to FLS for registration within 30 days of your program start date and attend classes regularly.

Question: How can I get an F-1 visa?

Answer:  You must have an I-20 form and your SEVIS fee receipt.  To pay the SEVIS fee receipt, visit the website fmjfee.com or ask FLS to pay the fee on your application.  (The fee amount will be added to your invoice).

Make an appointment for a visa interview with the nearest US consulate or embassy.  Please note that students should plan to visit the embassy or consulate as far in advance of their program as possible to avoid time conflicts.  Take the I-20 form, acceptance letter, financial documents, and SEVIS fee receipt with you for the interview.
