The University has enjoyed an illustrious history since its foundation in 1870. It is well known for its programs in teacher education, and is one of the few colleges to offer a program in sports medicine. The University is a part of Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education. However, small enrollment allows for a personalized education. The University was recently chosen as one of the best liberal arts college in the Northeast, and enjoys an excellent reputation for its service to international students. |

Stevenson Library – The four-story structure contains an automated catalog and circulation system, on-line data bases, periodicals and a microfiche collection. Parsons Union Building – Contains the Eagle Wing snack bar, bookstore, game room and TV lounge. Bentley Hall – Food-service facility with seating for over 800 students. Zimmerli Gymnasium – With indoor swimming pool. Jack Stadium – Football stadium with all-weather track. Sloan Fine Arts Building – Contains two theatres and arts studios. |
