Dance Camp Suffolk University Boston, Massachusetts Boston off ers a rich cultural context for the FLS Dance Camp, being home to a vibrant community of dancers and choreographers. Some of the many respected troupes in the area include the Boston Ballet, Boston Conservatory, Boston Dance Company, Caitlin Corbett Dance Company, BalletRox, and Jose Mateo’s Ballet Theater.
Students in our program practice in small classes, and work with highly qualifi ed instructors from various fi elds of dance. Participants will receive a brief primer on the history of dance and work in a variety of genres each week including ballet, jazz, modern, funk and hip-hop.
Accommodation is provided in the newly renovated Suffolk University dormitories, just blocks away from Boston’s theater district and a short walk from the posh neighborhood of Beacon Hill and the fashionable shopping district of Newbury Street. Comprehensive English lessons are provided each morning in our modern facility adjacent to the university. | |
