The Test of English for International Communication, or TOEIC, test is an English language test designed specifically to measure the everyday English skills of people working in an international environment. TOEIC test questions are based on real-life work settings in an international environment, such as English for meetings, travel, and telephone conversations. The TOEIC has been used by nearly 14,000 businesses, organizations, and government agencies in 150 countries around the world to select, assess, and promote their staff. Our comprehensive TOEIC Preparation course will prepare you to excel at the TOEIC and jump-start your career.

Our program is offered in the international and dynamic Los Angeles area, at Citrus College. Students will enjoy the safe and modern campus, exciting LA lifestyle, and access to world-class universities and companies throughout southern California.

Our intensive program includes a total of 36 teacher-led lessons per week: 18 lessons of integrated study to improve all English skills; 12 lessons devoted to specific TOEIC strategies and skills and 6 lessons of Academic Workshops for additional language practice and skill development.

Students work with an experienced instructor to hone their ability in the TOEIC skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. Practice exams allow instructors to analyze students’ abilities and familiarize students with the test format and strategies.

Please note that students must possess an English fluency of FLS Level 9 or better to enter the TOEIC Program.
