Cal State University, Fullerton

This program introduces participants to the exciting process of creating a short film. Teachers have included Columbia University instructors, directors and technicians who’ve worked on major Hollywood productions. Students are taught to write a short screenplay and draw storyboards. Participants learn basic camera moves and improve their skills with on-location shooting.

*Students participating in this program stay in campus residence halls; however, this program is not affiliated with Cal State Fullerton or it's academic colleges.


  • Students will have many opportunities to take part in excursions with the full supervision of our trained FLS counselors. Activities include:

    • 18 lessons of English per week
    • 8 Movie production lessons per week. Use of camera and equipment & copy of final film
    • Evening dances, sports, games & movies


    • Safe and secure on-campus residence halls provide shared housing.
    • Includes three meals on weekdays, brunch on Saturdays and brunch & dinner on Sundays.
    • Roundtrip airport transfer to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
